About me

Hi, my name is Riyas Moosa. I am 25 years old, married to Jasna, born and residing in a village near Kannur in Kerala (South West of India). In 2003 I graduated from CHOVVA High School.
I am also the proud owner of a golden 1994 Ambassador.

The idea to start my own business rose during a trip through India, together with a Dutchman in 2008. We became friends in Oman, both working as expatriates for the Port Authority of Sohar.

The program we both designed was tailor-made, yet flexible. We made use of trains, buses and a car - the same you see in the picture. My knowledge of Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and elementary English proved very useful. Being acquainted with local customs, I was able to clarify most of the 'mysteries' we ran into.

However, a plethora of questions about the history of India urged me to dive into some books. Which I did, happily ;-) Let's hope I know the answers to your questions! My travel mate convinced me that this 'beyond the trodden paths' formula would add something tot the existing offers. And I guess he was right...
